$250,000 - Illinois Car Accident.  Resolved a case for a Chicago Area resident who was hit by an uninsured driver.  The plaintiff suffered a herniated disc and had surgery.  Our law firm made an uninsured motorist claim for him and we were able to collect the insurance policy limits.

$50,000 - Chicago Pedestrian Accident.  Reached a partial settlement for a woman who sustained head injuries when she was hit by a car while in a crosswalk.  The defendant was only insured for $50,000, and we are now pursuing an under-insured motorist claim for our client.  We expect to collect an additional $200,000 for her shortly. 

$55,000 - Chicago Car vs. Skateboard Accident.  Settled case for a Chicago teen who was hit by a car while crossing in a crosswalk.  The client sustained a broken nose and dental injuries.

$28,000 - Illinois Workers' Compensation Claim.  Settled claim for a Waukegan woman who sustained a right arm injury while working as a pastry chef in Wilmette, Illinois.  The claimant also received just under $10,000 in disability wages while off work, and her medical bills were paid.

$27,680.25 - Illinois Work Injury Settlement.  Resolved case for a Com Ed meter reader who had surgery to fix bunion deformities on his feet.  The bunions developed due to constant walking on the job.  In addition to the settlement, his medical bills were paid and he received four months disability pay for time off work.

$35,000 - Chicago Bicycle Accident.  Settled case for Chicago resident who was hit by a car on the North Side.  Our client sustained left knee and shoulder injuries and incurred just over $8,000 in medical bills.

$150,000 - Chicago Premises Liability. Settled case against a local store where a security guard used excessive force to detain a customer and our client sustained facial fractures.

$460,000 - Chicago Car Accident.  A driver failed to yield coming out of a stop sign, hitting our client's vehicle.  The plaintiff had to undergo surgeries to repair a herniated disc.

$20,000 - Illinois Car Accident.  Recovered insurance policy limits for a client who suffered arm scaring and lacerations when her SUV was hit hard enough to flip it over.  We are now pursuing an under-insured motorist claim for her.

$15,000 - Chicago Pedestrian Accident.  Settled a case for client who was standing in front of his house when a car accident occurred and one of the vehicles spun out onto the sidewalk and hit him.  He sustained a broken left clavicle that healed without complication.

$19,000 - Chicago Bike Accident.  Settled case for a bicycle rider who was hit by an opening car door as he passed by.  Our client sustained left shoulder injuries.

$275,000 - Premises Liability. Settled case against a building owner when a minor child sustained severe eye injuries when she was pushed into a defectively designed lock box on an apartment door.

$21,000 - Cook County Truck Accident.  Reached settlement for client who was hit from behind by a commercial truck.  She incurred soft tissue neck and back injuries.

$12,000 - Chicago Slip & Fall.  Settled case for client who slipped and fell on a loose tile while stepping out of a shower at her rental apartment.  She suffered a leg injury.  The landlord was given prior notice of the condition and failed to take action to repair the condition.

$95,000 - Pedestrian Auto Accident. A pedestrian was hit in a crosswalk and sustained ankle injuries from a car that was speeding in a parking lane while passing other stopped vehicles on the right.

$600,000 - Wrongful Death Auto Accident. A passenger was killed in a contested liability auto accident. Insurance policy limits of $500,000 was collected from one defendant, and the victim's un-insured motorist coverage of $100,000 was collected for the liability of the other defendant who was uninsured.

$85,000 - Premises Liability. A child incurred a facial laceration from a small nail protruding from a couch in a local coffee shop.

$25,000 - Workers' Compensation. A phone repairman injured his shoulder while lifting a heavy object at work. He suffered a small tear to his supraspinatus tendon that will not require surgery.

$17,000 - Auto Accident. Plaintiff incurred back and leg injuries when a car turning left failed to yield and struck his vehicle.

$20,000 - Premises Liability. Settled case against a grocery store where a Chicago resident cut his hand on glass that was protruding from a grocery cart handle.

$50,000 - Pedestrian Auto Accident. A pedestrian was hit by a car while standing in the street next to his stalled vehicle. He sustained a deep laceration to his leg and the case settled for insurance policy limits.

$235,000 - Premises Liability Wrongful Death. A woman called 911 while having a seizure in her apartment. When police and paramedics arrived, they were delayed several minutes because front desk security personnel were not present to let them in the building. The delay may have contributed to her passing away.

$45,000 - Workers' Compensation. Plaintiff lost his balance and fell off the back of a truck, injuring his back and left arm.

$15,000 - Auto Accident. Plaintiff sustained neck and knee injuries when her vehicle was rear-ended by another car.

$19,000 - Auto Accident. Plaintiff sustained neck and back injuries when his vehicle was struck by a drunk driver. The defendant fled the scene, our client called 911, and the defendant was caught after a police chase.

$10,000 - Pedestrian Auto Accident. The following is a very odd case. A woman was at home in bed when her elderly neighbor lost control of her car, drove through a wall of the house, and struck our client's bed. Our client only incurred minor injuries. The $10,000 settlement was in addition to the cost of property damage repairs.

$150,000 - Nursing Home Abuse. Our client, while in a coma, was neglected and not properly cared for. As a result he developed large bedsores all over his body that led to sepsis.

$15,000 - Auto Accident. Plaintiff sustained neck and back injuries when a defendant failed to yield and turned left into the path of our client's vehicle.

$95,000 - Premises Liability. A woman slipped and fell in front of an office building on an unnatural accumulation of ice. She fractured her ankle and had to have surgery.

$63,000 - Auto Accident. Our client was hospitalized with a leg fracture and severe chest pain in a contested liability auto accident case. The collision occurred while merging at the junction of the Kennedy and Edens Expressway. The $63,000 was awarded at a binding arbitration.

$115,000 - Premises Liability. Client sustained a herniated disk (un-operated) when she slipped and fell on water from a leaking pipe in a restaurant bathroom. The restaurant had notice of the condition and failed to act.

$76,000 - Premises Liability. Plaintiff tripped and fell and injured her knee on a cracked wooden stair leading to a parking lot of an apartment building. Our firm retained an expert to testify regarding inadequate lighting in the parking lot.

$40,000 - Pedestrian Auto Accident. Plaintiff struck by a car while crossing at a T-intersection in an un-marked crosswalk.
